Othemoja: A Tale of Love and the Sea

Details coming soon...

In this unique fusion of Shakespeare's "Othello" and the Yoruba mythology of Yemoja, the goddess of the sea observes the tragic love story of Othello and Desdemona. As jealousy and betrayal unfold in Venice and Cyprus, Yemoja seeks to guide Othello toward truth and harmony. Through her wisdom and the celebration of love in her coastal village, the play explores the consequences of mistrust and the importance of respecting the balance of nature and relationships. Ultimately, it highlights the enduring power of love and the lessons learned from tragedy, as Yemoja reminds the characters of their connection to the sea and each other...

Irin Ajo - The Journey

Irin Ajo - The Journey is a compelling exploration of reconciliation across racial and tribal lines. Tyron, an African American man, and Steve, a Caucasian man, are forced to confront their biases and the societal divides between them. Along with Lindiwe, a South African woman, and Jada, an African American woman, they navigate issues of cultural identity and healing. Central to the story is Edwin/Edna, Tyron's child, whose innocence challenges the adults to rethink their assumptions and embrace unity.

"Irin Ajo" is the journey of human existence, even in our confusion, as we love and hate. It reminds us that we all have the responsibility of making things right. This journey is the beginning of what we all must take—a path toward understanding, empathy, and reconciliation.
